Town of Vail Hiking Information

The parking area for the Booth Lake Trailhead in Vail will be closed until Oct. 10. Parking spaces are limited at trailheads and are available on a first-come, first-served basis, including overnight parking. These spots fill quickly.

Visitors to the Gore/Deluge trailhead will see designated parking spaces and delineated no parking areas to address conflicts between vehicles and bicyclists on Vail Pass.

Parking on Town of Vail streets is prohibited year round, call a code enforcement officer for questions at 970 476-7603. Please park for FREE at the Vail Village or Lionshead parking structure and take a FREE Town of Vail bus to the trailheads. All buses to the trailheads leave from the top level of the Vail Village Transportation Center. If you park in Lionshead, take a FREE in-town bus to the Covered Bridge stop in Vail Village. VAIL AND LIONSHEAD PARKING GARAGES
Ideal for day hikers

Free day parking and paid overnight parking with a flat rate of $35. Vehicles can stay parked no more than 14 days and must then exit garage. If you park in Lionshead, take a FREE in-town bus to the Covered Bridge stop in Vail Village.

 

RED SANDSTONE PARKING GARAGE
Ideal for overnight campers

Free day and free overnight parking. Can stay parked no more than 72 hours and must then exit garage.
